26 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:  Its official.  I look pregnant.  Enough that strangers are starting to ask when I am due.  And my girls think my belly is pretty big.  Yesterday, Bianca asked how I would go to the hospital when its time for the baby to come because she thought I would be too big to fit in a car! 

How Far Along: 26 weeks

Size of Baby: Baby Bumblebee is now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Obviously getting a battery for our scale is not a priority!  Still no battery, and I go to the doctor this Thursday, so I don't know. 

Maternity Clothes: It's all maternity wear for me, there are few things that still fit from my old wardrobe.  I'm learning to be creative.

Gender: It's a BOY! And I think we have a name.  But don't bother asking, because we are not giving hints.  Nope, not even a little one. 

Movement: The past week has brought flips and kicks.  Last night, I'm pretty sure he was doing tae bo while I was trying to sleep.  There were limbs coming from every direction! 

Sleep: I've been getting more sleep, when its not interrupted by an exercising boy.  Generally, I'm aiming for about 9 hours a night. 

What I miss:  I'm enjoying this pregnancy, so there's not much I miss!

Cravings: Food. What sounds good is getting healthier.  I don't really want anything greasy or heavy.

Symptoms: Typical pregnancy symptoms.  Nothing too bad.  But I feel huge, and the back pains are starting to confirm that feeling.

Best Moment This Week: The girls decided that the baby must come out of my belly button.  They've not asked about it since then.  So I'm going with it.  I didn't confirm or deny that conclusion!

Medically:  My monthly appointment is this Thursday.  And it includes the Gestational Diabetes test.  Yay.  Refer to week 17 post for the perinatologist appointment about the Prothrombin/Factor II Mutation.
